About
Christine Ashley Taylor is a Multidisciplinary Artist from Boise, Idaho.
CAT is an Idaho native born in September of 1986. A mother of 2.
She was raised by a father who managed two locally owned camera and photo print stores in the '90s. She has fond memories of printing customers' family and artistic photos. Her mother returned to the workforce and started by working in a jewelry store before transitioning to a local credit union. This later thrust her into traversing the climb of a corporate ladder when the credit union was bought by an NYSE-traded bank. Those working environments had a profound impact on Christine as a young girl.
Christine has 1 biological sibling who graduated from Cornish College of the Arts. She also has many cherished "blended family" siblings and relatives. Christine was occasionally referred to by her initials "CAT" by her adopted grandfather, who passed away on Halloween when she was 10.
Due to the chaos and hostility in Christine's home as she became a young woman, she entered the workforce and moved out at 16. She has worked in retail, service, construction, fitness, modeling, banking, and investments. As well as being an activist, entrepreneur, and stay-at-home mother for many years to homeschool her 2 children, she also attained her investment licenses and did marketing in order to help her 2nd husband establish a book of business in insurance and investments.
Upon the end of her 2nd marriage due to her extreme preference for fidelity in a world where infidelity is pressed for, idolized, and worshiped, she has leaned into her entrepreneurial spirit and deep passion for the many wonders of this life, and been led to continue to pursue healing and self-preservation through her many creative skills and love of art.
